Privacy, in plain words
When you ask for help, I need a few details to book and carry out the visit. Here is exactly what, and what I do with it.
What I collect
- When you request a visit: your name, phone number, email address (optional), the kind of help you want, a few words about the problem, and the time you chose.
- For a house call or business visit: the address, so I can come to you.
- If someone books for you: their name and phone number or email too, so we can keep both of you informed.
- On this website: nothing else. There are no advertising or tracking scripts, and no cookies for visitors. The owner's private page uses one sign-in cookie.
What I use it for
Only to contact you, confirm and carry out your visit, remind you about it, and keep a simple record of the work. I do not sell your information or give it to advertisers.
Who sees it
- Me. I am the only person with access.
- Email delivery. Messages about your booking pass through an email service (Resend) so they reach you.
- Hosting. The information is stored on a secure server in the United States (Hetzner).
How long I keep it
Booking records are kept for three years, so I can answer questions about past work, and then deleted. You can ask me to delete yours sooner at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what I hold about you. Email hello@risetechsupport.com.
During a visit
I may see files and screens while fixing a problem. I look only at what is needed, I do not copy your files or passwords, and I tell you before I open anything personal.
