House call
I come to you, with patience and no jargon.
$50 for the first hour
Travel is included within about 15 miles. After the first hour, $35 per extra hour.
About 1.5 hours, at your address.
Small-business visit
On-site help for an office or shop.
$50 per hour
Two-hour minimum on site. For ongoing work I will give you a written estimate first.
About 2 hours, at your address.
What the price includes
- Working out what is wrong, and fixing it where it can be fixed.
- Explaining what I did, in plain words, so you know what to do next time.
- A short written note afterwards, if you would like one.
Good to know
- You pay after the visit, by card, Zelle or cash. Nothing is charged to book.
- I tell you the price before I start. For anything that will take longer than an hour I give you a written estimate first.
- New equipment or parts: I will tell you what you need and why, and you decide. I do not push anything you do not need.
